James Hal­lam  is a busi­ness design spe­cial­ist from Bris­bane, Aus­tralia.  He works with busi­nesses large and small to improve busi­ness processes and imple­ment busi­ness sys­tems.  In the process he leads & moti­vates peo­ple to improve pro­duc­tiv­ity by tap­ping into the intrin­sic val­ues of team members.

Bio

James has worked in busi­ness analy­sis, project man­age­ment and busi­ness improve­ment for the last 5 years.  Prior to that he gained diverse expe­ri­ence as a soft­ware devel­oper, sys­tems ana­lyst, boat builder, sales rep­re­sen­ta­tive and micro busi­ness owner over a 13 year period.

James has man­aged peo­ple in a small, fam­ily run busi­ness and large gov­ern­ment depart­ments, in Aus­tralia and over­seas.  He has crewed ocean rac­ing yachts, been dis­masted at sea and spent cold, wet, sea­sick nights doing what has to be done as part of a team.  These expe­ri­ences lend James a prac­ti­cal, insight­ful and col­lab­o­ra­tive approach to man­ag­ing peo­ple and achiev­ing pro­duc­tiv­ity & per­for­mance goals.
